I just watched this video of Dr. Susan Weinschenk discussing the ROI of user experience. She couldn’t have hit the nail on the head any better. I can’t express how important it is for companies to capture the requirements in the beginning. Communication is key and if you do not know what your building or who your building it for, your ROI on user experience will not be very high.

The Reason Apple is Better Than Microsoft
When I first drank the kool-aid I was really impressed with Apple’s products. So much so that I have never looked back and I’ve owned over 15 different Apple products. Soon realizing that being an Apple user really allowed me to be more creative…it was definitely a mental thing but I just had a different mind set.
It’s exactly what Steve mentions in this video regarding Apple’s products. How their products have culture and that is why they’re successful, which I believe to be very true.
Steve Ballmer explains a short road map of Microsoft’s products, the same road map that would lead to the failure of Microsoft Vista, Zune and Windows Mobile. Though I feel that Microsoft has done some great things for the technology world I do believe they are unoriginal and have no culture. I’ve been to a few Microsoft events and they try so hard but Apple is by far the better product. Anyways enjoy the video.

Mike Monteiro On Getting Paid
I’m really not into the strong language that Mike Monteiro uses here but the points that he makes are spot on. When we got our own lawyer it made things so much easier for getting paid and getting contracts in place with our clients. I suggest you watch this video for sure.
